This song came out as the war in Iraq began. Perhaps even more people will join in singing it today as we know more of the futility and immorality of this war.
Listen to Garth Hewitt sing Not In My Name.
And join in singing.

Nice song. Unfortunately, as long as we pay our war taxes, it IS in our names and with our help.
You're right. I've thought for some time that for most of us we need to revive the slogan "No taxation without representation" since the house and senate are filled with those controlled by the wealthy (many of whom profit from war). A good tax revolt might be called for.
I'm trying to figure where I fit since my income is so low that I actually get back more at tax time than was actually withheld from my pay (?!?) Is my tax refund reducing the responsibility for the war of some more wealthy objector? ;-)
