Seldom do Kathy and I have the same day off, so we seldom get to do anything special. Thursday I took off for the Friends of the Library Book Sale (was Kathy's regular day off) and rather than go back to work for just one day, took off Friday as well (also Kathy's regular day off). That gave us the opportunity to go to Garvan Woodland Gardens to watch the koi. The water was muddy from the recent heavy rains, but it was still a peaceful and enjoyable afternoon.
