Scripture Passage for the Day

Justice is rebuffed and flouted
while righteousness stands at a distance;
truth stumbles in court
and honesty is kept outside,
so truth is lost to sight,
and those who shun evil withdraw.

There was no justice,
and when the LORD saw it he was displeased.
