"Taura tinzwe" is a Shona expression that literally means "Speak that we may hear." It can be used to indicate that you are ready to listen to someone or to ask a speaker to speak louder. Here is is the "nome de plume" of . . .
"For us let it be enough to know ourselves to
be in the place where God wants us, and carry on our work, even though it be no
more than the work of an ant, infinitesimally small, and with unforeseeable
results."
Experimenting with a Photoshop plug-in called Fractalius. It has more potential than the examples on the web site show (http://www.redfieldplugins.com/filterFractalius.htm) but can be a bit tricky at first. Some good examples of what it can do are on the PanosFX Forum together with a short tutorial showing how Fractalius is used with one of the PanosFX actions to create a very nice image. This was done using two versions of the image modified in Factalius that were blended together with the original image using layer blend modes. Interesting?
Here is my first experiment with the new Photoshop Action set from Panosfx.com These have a lot of potential for creating interesting ways of displaying pictures.

I headed to my virtual darkroom (Photoshop) and processed this shot with Nik Analog Effects Pro and OnOne Suite 8 then washed the print with Panos' Water drops action and hung it on the line to dry. That's what you see below. Oh, yeah, I built the wall with Filter Forge.
I finally got around to processing some test shots using my new Nikon 7100 in downtown Hot Springs. I seldom go downtown. I should change that now that I have more time. There are a lot of things to take pictures of in this tourist center.
Just a bit of fun experimenting with Filter Forge plug-in for Photoshop and the 3D features of Photoshop CS6 Extended. No real significance to this picture other than trying out some features. (Also a bit of clip art used to add interest.)
I'm playing around with creating page backgrounds for photo albums. I'm experimenting with blending different things together to see what effects result. Here are some examples of backgrounds for Oriental photos.
This began with two photos of planes flying at a local RC Airplane Fly-in. With a little work in Photoshop, they went back in time and entered into combat. In reality neither was armed nor were they both in the air at the same time. It's all a figment of my imagination, inspired by a tutorial in the December 2012 Photoshop User Magazine.
